magic days was recorded from june through september 2009, with july and august off cause i was in australia. the album is essentially a whole lot of little inspirations piled on top of each other. words written on post-its while at stop lights where often compiled to make the lyrics. samples that had been gathered over much time, instruments that had been neglected, ideas that i previously didn't know how to communicate all of a sudden came to the foreground. it was also a time of realizing deep love.
